Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs is the downtown member of the three-property Agua Caliente casino group. It offers gaming, bars, dining and live entertainment, but it is not a resort hotel. That distinction matters when comparing it with Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage or the smoke-free Cathedral City property.
Best for: adults seeking a downtown gaming or nightlife stop, sports viewing, dinner and entertainment without changing hotels.
What this property includes
The Palm Springs location operates a 40,000-square-foot casino floor with slots and table games. Its current dining and nightlife lineup includes The Steakhouse, 360 Sports, Cascade Lounge, Center Bar and a gift shop. Entertainment and promotions change frequently, so use the official calendar rather than a third-party event list.
What it does not include
There are no hotel accommodations at Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs. The Agua Caliente property with the 16-story hotel, pools and Sunstone Spa is in Rancho Mirage, about eight miles away according to the casino operator. Book carefully so the address and amenities match the property you intend to visit.
Smoking policy
Smoking is permitted on the casino floor at the Palm Springs property. The official FAQ says smoking is prohibited in dining areas, the table-games area, 360 Sports and Cascade Lounge. Travelers who require an entirely smoke-free casino should not assume those nonsmoking zones make the whole building smoke-free.
Plan the visit
- Address: 401 E Amado Road, Palm Springs.
- Gaming: available 24 hours, subject to individual game and service availability.
- Dining: reserve or confirm hours for a specific restaurant.
- Entertainment: check the Palm Springs calendar, not the Rancho Mirage or Cathedral City schedule.
- Dress: general casino dress is casual; The Steakhouse recommends smart-casual or casino-casual attire.
- Responsible gaming: decide your time and spending limit before playing.
Fit it into downtown
This location works as an evening component rather than a destination resort stay. It can be paired with downtown dining, nightlife or a Thursday VillageFest visit, but allow for event traffic and confirm each venue’s hours separately.
